The grease nipples have been painted over and not used recently. The bearing is full of rusty water not grease!

When I was boating I used to carry an oilcan filled with old engine oil and used it on dodgy paddles. You fixed things yourself because you knew no-one else would.
Nowadays it seems not even crews bother.

I now carry a grease gun and an oil can. During the quiet months I do “lube as I go”. In August there are so many boats you would get complaints about holding folk up!

Surely alot of these bridges hit by cars should be repaired under the car insurance ? Keep up the good work.
